A live patch station for events

The patch bar your guests won't stop talking about.

Wheel out a wall of embroidered, leather, and chenille patches, let guests build their own combo, and watch a crew heat-press it onto a cap, tote, or denim jacket while they wait. Everyone leaves with something they designed.

Run by Merch Troop live-event crews out of Orange County, CA. We bring the patches, the garments, the presses, and the staff.

What is a patch bar

A make-your-own station, not a giveaway table.

A patch bar turns merch into a moment. Instead of handing out a pre-decorated shirt, we set up a styled bar with dozens of patch options and a blank garment menu. Guests browse, arrange their patches, and one of our operators presses everything on in under a couple of minutes. The line becomes the entertainment.

01

Browse the wall

Guests pick from embroidered, woven, leather, and chenille patches — event logos, city marks, icons, and playful extras — laid out on a curated patch wall.

02

Choose a garment

Caps like the Richardson 112, canvas tote bags, denim jackets, beanies, or blanks you supply. Guests place the patches exactly where they want them.

03

Pressed on the spot

Our crew heat-applies each patch on a professional press. It cools on the rack for a moment and gets handed back finished — washable and ready to wear home.

Why planners book it

A favor guests actually keep.

Branded swag usually ends up in a drawer. A patch that someone chose and placed themselves ends up on their everyday bag or cap. That is the difference between merch that gets tossed and merch that keeps your logo in the world for years.

  • Hands-on activation that pulls a crowd and creates a natural photo moment.
  • Right-sized for guest counts from an intimate 40 up to a 1,500-person festival day.
  • Zero pre-order guesswork — guests build only what they want, so nothing is wasted.
  • Fully staffed: setup, live operation, teardown, and a clean handoff are all on us.

Good to know

Quick answers before you book.

How long does each patch take to apply?

Applying one to three patches to a cap or tote takes a minute or two on the press once a guest has chosen their layout. Because guests browse and arrange while others are being pressed, the bar keeps a steady flow rather than a stop-and-go queue.

What garments can guests patch?

Popular choices are Richardson 112 trucker caps, canvas tote bags, denim jackets, and beanies. We can also press onto blanks you provide, as long as the fabric handles heat. Leather and delicate items are handled with the right settings by our operators.

Do you bring everything, or do we supply anything?

We bring the patch wall, the presses, tables, and staff. You can let us source the garments and patches, provide your own event-logo patches, or mix both. We'll confirm the plan when we scope your quote.
